Permanent Jewellery

How does permanent jewellery work?

Permanent Jewellery is applied with a welding machine which is specifically created for fragile metals. After we custom size your chain for the appropriate amount of slack, the spark welds together a jump ring that replaces the need for a clasp (clasp-less jewellery.)

Does it hurt?

Nope! The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature, and you will not feel a thing as we are working with the metal. There is absolutely no risk to you since our machine only reacts to metal. 

Can it be removed?

Yes! If you'd like to remove your jewellery, simply cut the chain at the link we welded. Be sure to save the chain if you want to have it reattached in the future! We're happy to put your jewellery back on for a $15 re-weld fee.

When can it not be worn?

TSA - Travelers are permitted to wear real jewellery through airport security without issue.

SURGERY & MRI - There are situations where the jewellery may need to be removed for a medical procedure or MRI. In this event, the jewellery can be re-welded as long as it is properly removed.

How much is it?

Pricing starts from $85 for Sterling Silver bracelets and $100 for Gold Filled bracelets. Charms vary in price.

What is Gold Filled?

“Gold-filled” is a USA industry standard that legally requires 1/20th, or 5% pure gold by weight. It’s a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass resulting in a durable, quality real gold product.

Is Gold Filled good quality?

Gold-fill is absolutely your best option after solid gold for quality and durability. It will not flake off or turn your skin green and offers a great option for people with sensitive skin. We only use the best USA made gold-filled components and stand behind our product’s quality. Gold-filled jewellery can stay beautiful for a lifetime, especially with a little care.

Will you have charms available?

Yes! These will be first come first serve and seasonal! If there is anything you are wanting specifically, please get in contact and we will do all we can to source your perfect charm or connector.

Does the jewellery require any maintenance?

Your jewellery can undergo months of wear without needing to be cleansed. To maintain the integrity of the link, aftercare can be used to remove debris or build up.

How do we get linked?

There are 4 options to get linked by us!

  1. In my studio at South Mission Beach, Cassowary Coast in Queensland. Book here
  2. Mission Beach Markets! No need to book, just come on down and browse the local stalls and get yourself linked.
  3. Visit us at one of our pop ups! Follow us on Facebook / Instagram or check our homepage to know when and where our next pop-up event will be!
  4. Host a private party! What's more fun than grabbing your besties and getting linked together?! Contact me for more information.
How do I host a private party?

Easy! Click contact us at the top of the page and let us know you'd like to have a private party! 

Parties must be within a 2 hour drive from Mission Beach, QLD. Parties further than 2 hours require a travel fee.

The host receives 10% of total sales back in product.. love that for them!

We require a non-refundable $100 deposit to book a party. This deposit is applied towards hosts purchase.

6 person minimum per party. If a cancellation is needed, we require a 2 week minimum to not forfeit deposit.

What if my permanent jewellery breaks?

We employ an inspection process to ensure your jewellery is properly welded before you exit your appointment. If your Permanent Jewelry breaks AT THE WELD spot within 7 days, then we will re-weld at no charge.

What if I lose my permanent jewellery?

We cannot offer replacements, refunds or discounts to replace lost chains, due to the personal nature of the wearer’s lifestyle, job and other external factors that are out of our control.
